How to Use Flower Iron on Patches?

The first thing to do is to set the iron temperature, check the instructions that came with the patch to determine the proper iron temperature setting. In general, a medium-high setting (between 275-375°F or 135-190°C) is fine for most patches. Then place the patch on the desired area, adhesive side down. Make sure it’s centered and aligned according to your chosen location.

Then press the heated iron firmly onto the patch for about 10-15 seconds. Apply even pressure and be sure to cover the entire patch area. After applying the application, carefully lift up the corner of the patch to check that it is firmly attached. If it does not attach successfully, reheat and pressurize.

To protect from direct heat during the application process, place a thin cloth or parchment over the patch. so as not to be burnt.

Dye Sublimation Prices

We provide a method known as dye sublimation because we are aware that some patches require a great deal of detail. Thread is used to embroider and weave patches; some elaborate designs cannot be produced as cleanly as we’d like. By using specific dyes that bind to the fabric molecules in our dye sublimation process, we can produce printed patches with fine details that are almost photographic in clarity. Pricing for custom patches is given on a case-by-case basis and will be finished upon request.
